Relative to commending and congratulating Mr. Aristedes V. Erguiza on the occasion of his retirement after thirty-four (34) years of service with the Guam Department of Education (GDOE); and to further extend a warm Un Dångkolo Na Si Yu’os Ma’åse to him for his dedicated service to our island. Relative to recognizing and congratulating the Filipino Ladies Association of Guam on their 54th Christmas and Induction Ball and to further extend a warm and sincere Un Dångkolo Na Si Yu’ os Ma’ åse’ to FLAG for addressing the humanitarian needs of our island and regional community while keeping the Philippine culture and pride strong among the Filipinos of our island community. Relative to commending and congratulating Elisha Crawford Joyce, on her accomplishment on NBC’s ‘Food Fighters’ challenge and being named as one of ‘America’s Top Home Chefs’ and to extend a warm Un Dangkolo Na Si Yu’os Ma’ase to her for spreading the Chamorro culture through her talent in cooking and to further recognize her as an “Ambassador of Guam” for her positive promotion of our island and our people. Relative to recognizing Carl V. Dominguez for his service as Director and Deputy Director of the Department of Public Works; and to further commending him and extending a sincere Un Dångkolo Na Si Yu’os for his more than forty (40) years of public and private sector service to the people and island of Guam. Relative to recognizing and congratulating Mr. Kevin C. Masnayon on being the first from Guam to be selected as the Umpire Crew Chief for the 2014 Senior League World Series in Bangor, Maine; and to further extending Un Dångkolo Na Si Yu’os Ma’åse on his nineteen (19) years of continuous and dedicated services to the Guam Little League, the Junior League, the Senior League, the Big League, the Masters League, as well as the Budweiser Baseball League formerly known as the Guam Major League. Relative to expressing the acknowledgement and support of I Mina'Trentai Dos Na Liheslaturan Guåhan for the newly-formed Micronesian Council of Culture, Art and Tourism (MCCAT); and to further extending a special tribute and recognition to those involved in this historic effort to encourage and strengthen regional cooperation in promoting the welfare and advancement of culture, art and tourism among the people of the islands of Micronesia. Relative to recognizing the observance of World AIDS Day on December 1, 2014 and to further extend a warm and sincere Un Dångkolo Na Si Yu’osMa’åse’ to the Guam HIV Planning Group (HPG), Guam’s Alternative LifestyleAssociation (GALA) and WestCare Pacific Islands (WCPI) for strengthening Guam’s community’s response to HIV and continuing to mobilize our island’s efforts in the fight against HIV. Relative to recognizing His Excellency Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, for his support and contribution during the World War II memorial ceremonies on Guam; to extending a sincere Un Dångkolo Na Si Yu'os Ma'åse' (thank you very much) to the Honorable Congresswoman Sanae Takaichi, the Honorable Congressman Takeo Hiranuma, the Honorable Congressman Hiroshi Miyake, and the Shrine Priests of Yasukuni Jinja on their visit to Guam to promote peace in the Asia Pacific region by paying tribute to the lives that were lost on Guam during World War II; and to further commending Mr. Ken Haga and Mr. Gene Camacho of U.S. Explore and Study, Inc. for their efforts in organizing the ceremonies.
